blogs blogs blogs
I've started trolling the blogs every day. Just like many of you do, I'm sure. I should rss it all, I'm sure, but I kind of like my bookmarked folders. I've contemplated posting my favorites here, but I feel like at some point it's got to stop. I mean, I read blogs that are lists of goodness from other blogs that are lists of goodness from other blogs... you get the point.

There are a couple of friends that get semi-regular favorites from me. I keep waiting for them to tell me to stop.

Where do I go?

On my life. The word on being broken, or not broken, is that there is concern. Because I was being such a good patient, my dr. seems to think that I may have a herniated disk (better case would be bulging). However, Stanford can't fit me in for a diagnostic MRI until June 2nd. Oh, and I found this out when it was still April. June. April. June. April. Something seems a little wrong.

No, I don't have a job yet. Yes, I'm looking. Mostly on the design strategy side of things. I'm really excited about the possibilities. Although, I would point out that, I don't have a job yet. Then again, I still have to finish school. I'm working on that too.

I went to see Thievery Corporation on Sunday. I'm not the hugest fan, but I love live music, and was curious to see what they'd be like live. Fantastic, really. I wish we'd gotten general admission tix, instead of being stuck in the balcony, but they were sold out. We danced anyway, which always makes me feel a little awkward - dancing in the seats - but was necessary.

And Caroline and Matt came to visit on Saturday night. I'm doing a project about wine at the moment, and I started talking about wine with Matt. Matt mentioned they'd just gotten a Granacha from their favorite wine store in Pasadena, and they'd been told to buy a case. They walked out with 2 bottles, loved them, and returned to find it sold out. I said that I'd just had a nice Granacha too, from my favorite wine store in Atherton. What was theirs? Oh, of course, the same bottle of wine. I sent them down to Beltramo's to buy some more - $6.75 in Atherton, opposed to $10 something in Pasadena. And I thought Atherton was the most expensive place in the world. Or is it just the highest income/richest? It's one of those things.

The wine, for the record, is a 2003, from Las Rocas (it's Spanish).
